Note : House 93 ( Brown ) takes in 6 counties Hancock-Harrison-Stone-Pearl River-Forrest-Lamar
Note : House 118 ( Black ) is an association of 2 separate Non-continuous blobs
Note : House 95 ( Blue ) is basically Diamondhead with a snake trail up to HWY53 and over to some miscellaneous precincts adjacent to Hwy 49 and I-10. It is interesting to note that the official Hancock County precinct map does not match up with the Harrison County precinct map. ( Completely Non-Continuous ). It appears that Hancock County has drawn multiple district lines thru existing precincts without splitting the precincts and giving them new names. Updated Mon 7-14-2003. The Hancock County Dedeaux precinct shown on the Secretary Of State-MS State House map, does not match the Hancock County map. Looking at the Harrison County map, West Orange Grove C is split into two separate land masses possibly with the exception a 10' sliver down Landon road.
Note : All counties appear to have different methods for developing their district maps. Jackson County uses a law firm up in Jackson. Harrison county does their maps in house. Hancock county farms their work out to someone at the test site. Hancock county puts out a document that says their are multiple districts within a precinct but has never bothered to split the precinct.
All in all, one has to ask one's self :
What are they doing up there ??
How bad can one fail in carrying out their duties ???
How bad can one fail in carrying out their sworn oath of office ??
and . . . how much more can we stand ????
As for the State House 95 voting Precincts :
Hancock County - Diamondhead and
Gerrymandered Dedeaux
Harrison County - Occupied Gerrymandered Lyman B, Occupied Gerrymandered Orange Grove, Gerrymandered East Saucier BC, Gerrymandered New Hope B, Gerrymandered Riceville B, Gerrymandered Advance B, Outside Long Beach (parts of), Gulfport Belair (parts of).
